EP.13 · The Price of a Promise

About this drama

At the grand reopening of a lavish hotel, Maya, a 26-year-old PR specialist, is desperate to rebuild her reputation after a professional setback. Her chance comes in the form of a high-stakes contract: stage a convincing romance with a famous athlete, Julian, whose public image is faltering. What Maya doesn't know is that Julian is privately battling a career-ending injury, making his public appearances a carefully orchestrated charade. Their initial animosity quickly dissolves into a surprisingly potent chemistry, complicated by the constant pressure of their public roles and the re-emergence of rivals from their past. As their 'staged' romance deepens into genuine affection, the threat of exposure looms, forcing them to confront not only their feelings but also the true cost of their carefully constructed lies. Their journey promises family reconciliation and a hopeful future beyond the spotlight.
