Her attempts to understand this impossible phenomenon attract the attention of Kaelen Thorne, the top student from a clandestine academy tasked with protecting these hidden realms. As Elara delves deeper, unknowingly navigating a hidden society dedicated to safeguarding ancient sites, Kaelen is assigned to expose her, believing her connection to the case is a threat. Their intersecting paths unveil a slow-burn mystery where trust is fragile, identities are concealed, and the line between guardian and target blurs.
