EP.30 · The Lakeside Current

About this drama

After a high-profile culinary failure, chef Lena Hansen retreats to her childhood home: a struggling lakeside clinic in a remote town, run by her estranged family. She hopes to quietly rebuild her life and perhaps save the clinic's cafe, but she's met with an unexpected challenge—and an even more unexpected connection. The clinic's building is owned by the charismatic and equally talented chef, Marcus Thorne, whose family has been intertwined with Lena's for generations. As Lena and Marcus navigate their professional rivalry and burgeoning personal chemistry, they discover the clinic is not just a business; it's become the last refuge for a community in crisis. With mounting financial pressure and secrets surfacing, Lena must reconcile her past, confront her family, and decide if she can truly rebuild her life—and perhaps find a new kind of family—in the place she once fled. This emotionally urgent series promises both mystery resolution and a decisive new beginning.
