EP.14 · The Bargain of Ambition

About this drama

In the high-stakes world of a fiercely competitive architecture firm, where every design pitch is a battle and every promotion is a war, ambitious strategist Elena Petrova finds herself in a precarious position. From a working-class background, she’s fought hard for every inch of her success, but a sudden corporate shake-up threatens to derail her career. Her only lifeline? A manufactured romance with Liam Thorne, a controlled executive burdened by a private debt and a reputation for ruthless efficiency. Their agreement is strictly professional: a public display of affection to stabilize their positions and secure a crucial firm-defining project. But as they navigate the treacherous waters of office politics and forced intimacy, the lines between their staged affection and burgeoning real feelings blur. The professional charade is soon threatened by unexpected, genuine jealousy, forcing them to confront the true cost of their bargain and the undeniable, emotionally urgent connection forming between them. Can their fragile alliance withstand the heat of their own burgeoning desires and the cutthroat environment that brought them together?
