About this drama

On the volcanic island empire of Xylos, court musician Lyra carries a dangerous secret: she remembers the true history of the royal family, a dynasty erased by the current regime. When a foreign power demands a political marriage between their prince and Xylos's current, reluctant regent, Lyra senses a deeper, more sinister game at play. As the wedding approaches, she must navigate treacherous court politics, using her musical talent as a cover to gather intelligence. The regent, Prince Kael, bears the physical mark of enemy magic, a constant reminder of his vulnerability, and he is a man torn between his duty and a growing suspicion of the impending union. Lyra and Kael are drawn into a desperate, forbidden alliance as they race against time to expose a plot that could shatter their world, forcing them to confront not only external threats but also the burgeoning, perilous connection between them. The series promises a thrilling blend of mystery, magic, and emotionally urgent stakes, culminating in a decisive new beginning for Xylos.
