EP.7 · Chosen Lineage

About this drama

Elara, a pediatric nurse with a prestigious but hidden family connection, thrives in the quiet rhythm of a lakeside clinic, believing her past is safely tucked away. Her world tilts when she encounters Liam, a gentle, reserved teacher whose quiet strength and dedication to his students are undeniable, yet whose own child remains stubbornly distant. The central pressure mounts when a seemingly innocent family-tree project for Liam's class begins to unravel threads connecting Elara's past to the very fabric of their small community. As the child's curiosity inadvertently pushes Elara and Liam closer, they must navigate the delicate balance between protecting long-held secrets and the burgeoning possibility of a new, chosen family. This heartwarming found-family romance explores how belonging is not always inherited, but often chosen and earned through vulnerability and shared understanding.
