About this drama

On the volcanic island empire of Xylos, court musician Lyra carries a dangerous secret: memories of the true royal lineage, brutally extinguished years ago. When the current Emperor announces a strategic marriage to a foreign princess, Lyra's musical intuition and sharp intellect detect a discordant note in the carefully orchestrated peace. She uncovers a plot far more sinister than mere political alliance: a royal wedding designed to disarm Xylos and pave the way for a devastating invasion. Her only potential ally is Kael, the Emperor's younger brother and reluctant regent, whose very skin bears the faint, iridescent markings of a powerful, foreign magic—a constant reminder of a brutal past. As Lyra delves deeper into the conspiracy, the pressure mounts, forcing her and Kael into a clandestine alliance where their forbidden connection deepens amidst the looming threat. Their desperate race against time to expose the truth and protect their homeland promises an earned romantic payoff, if they can survive the encroaching storm.
